What We Do The County Recorder's office also serves as the Registrar of Titles. These positions include a wide range of services to the public:
  • Real estate abstracting.
  • Owner's and encumbrance reports.
  • Satellite office for secretary of State under Revised Article 9. UCC filing office.
  • CNS filing office.
  • Office of record for real estate documents, including deeds, mortgages, miscellaneous documents relating to real estate, and military discharges.
  • Passports and Passport Photos.
  • Births (statewide certified copies).
  • Deaths (statewide certified copies, 1997 through 1999).
  • Marriage applications and marriage licenses.
  • Ministerial.
  • Notary commissions.
  • Genealogy searches.
